Urakubo Yuusaku (浦久保優策) is the captain of the Hiroshima Kureminami Tech Bicycle Racing Club during the 42nd Summer Interhigh. He was not allowed to participate in the 41st interhigh after intentionally injuring Machimiya Eikichi. His racing specialty is sprinting.
He has especially thin eyes and dreadlock-like hair with red tips. One dread sticks out the top of his helmet not unlike a shark fin. His closest friend is Niwazuma, another third year whom he's known since elementary school.
